Why LED bulbs are better:
Longer operational life means you'll probably never have to replace another bulb! LEDs provide 100,000 hours of continuous operation compared to 5,000 hours for incandescent bulbs.
Save you money and time. LEDs will cost approximately $23 to operate compared to $88 for a 100-watt incandescent bulb. Plus they save you the time and headache of replacing incandescent bulbs, which often burn out within a year.
Efficient use of energy. LEDs use 80% of the electrical energy for light, with only 20% being lost as heat. Incandescents waste 80% of their energy for heat, with only 20% for lighting the room.
More durable. LEDs have no fillaments to be damaged and can take more jarring and bumping than incandescent bulbs.

A : ClassicFlame built-In fireplace series inserts are specifically designed and certified to be professionally installed permanently in a wall. The Built-In Series features both 110 and 240 V settings and installed at 240V can produce 9,200 BTU?s/Hr. They are easily serviced from the front using ClassicFlames' Patent Pending Easy Access design. The 23, 28 & 33 Series inserts are NOT designed or certified to be installed directly into a wall.

We bought it because we decided to quit using our front room fire place to burn wood in it. We also wanted an imitation fire that would provide some heat. We choose electric over gas because we do not have natural gas in our area and propane or LP would be much too expensive.What we like about the electric fire place is the simulated fire is very realistic, especially from a little ways away. And, the fire/flame is adjustable.

We are delighted to respond to your request for Product Reviews. To give
you some insight concerning our response, our home in Arizona has five
fireplaces. Needless to say, my husband and I both have a passion for the
ambiance and comfort that they provide, especially during the holiday
season. However, Arizona enforces no burn days due to the elevated
tourist traffic during this season and resultant pollution. This has
prevented us from experiencing this very special treat and unfortunately,
is becoming exponentially worse as the years pass, a true disappointment.

Our first purchase and the basis for this e-mail response was for one 23
Mantel Insert for our Family Room beehive fireplace since the 33 would not
fit in the opening afforded although this would have been our preference.
The product was shipped expeditiously, was extremely well packaged and
arrived without any consequence. The installation of the insert was as
simple as placing a glass on your kitchen shelf. The courtesy,
professionalism and above all, personal care and attention provided by your
representatives were beyond reproach. This is specifically directed
towards Susan, a true asset to your company and a wonderful person to deal
with and to whom to speak. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, two
photographs are provided of this insert are provided in this e-mail
response to give you some idea of how wonderful it looks in our home. The
insert was more than we expected and started our thought process for the
remaining four fireplaces. Specifically, two of which are enclosed in
glass doors in the Loggia/Dining Room and Great Room areas (the remaining
two are unenclosed beehive fireplaces, one of which is outdoors on our
verandah).
The two enclosed fireplaces we wished to pursue posed a special challenge
but also received the most viewing by both my husband and I and our guests
and would accommodate the 33 Mantel inserts. The basic challenge was how
to get the power cord from the fireplace insert proper to the electrical
receptacle external to the hearth since the frame for the glass fireplace
doors on both units extends several inches beneath these doors and was
flush with the tiled hearth. Consequently, we initially questioned whether
or not it was even feasible to accomplish this. However, where there is a
will there is a way and the vent holes in the frame appeared to provide
enough of an opening through which the cords could pass in a most
inconspicuous manner for both fireplaces. Not even a week passed when we
found ourselves back on the telephone with Susan ordering these two 33
Mantel inserts. We are quite excited and pleased about these installations
which were quite easily performed.
The two photographs of the insert for the beehive fireplace in the Family
Room show how the power cord simply runs along the right side of the photo
to the receptacle to the right of the fireplace. The cord is quite
unobtrusive, especially during the evening hours when the fireplaces are
lighted. We were ecstatic with the presentation of this device and
continue, with our friends, to enjoy the warmth and serenity it brings to
our home, even after the holiday season is over. However, since there is
no heat generated from the insert (unless one elects to utilize the heat
feature), Memorial Day and July 4th are also holidays where we could not
previously utilize our wood burning fireplaces for obvious reasons but can
now enjoy the beauty and relaxation of these inserts 12-months a year.
Additionally, these inserts essentially eliminate fire hazard and burn
issues with both children and pets.
The Classic Flame fireplace insert satisfied every desire we had hoped to
achieve with this purchase and has not revealed one negative aspect to date.
