A : The fireplaces has a built-in 1,350 Watt fan forced heater which will produce 4,600 BTUs/Hr, which is enough to serve as supplemental heat for an average sized room (20 x 20).

A : We estimate that the fireplace costs $.03/hour* to use just the flame effect and $.10/hour* to use the flame and heater (with the heater cylcling off 50% of the time controlled by the built-in thermostat.). *Actual costs may vary based on local electricity costs.

A : No, ClassicFlame mantels are specifically designed with special air vents to provide the necessary airflow to work the heater.
Q : Can I adjust the flame?
A : Yes, you can adjust the brightness of the flame and on some models (28 Series & 33 Series) you can control (on/off) the down light which illuminates the inside of the fireplace.
Q : Can I install a ClassicFlame fireplace insert directly into a wall?
A : ClassicFlame built-In fireplace series inserts are specifically designed and certified to be professionally installed permanently in a wall. The Built-In Series features both 110 and 240 V settings and installed at 240V can produce 9,200 BTUs/Hr. They are easily serviced from the front using ClassicFlames' Patent Pending Easy Access design. The 23, 28 & 33 Series inserts are NOT designed or certified to be installed directly into a wall.

Aside from the fact that we had to wait a couple of months for delivery due to the high demand you had for oak, the home theater/fireplace is more than we expected. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture and the fireplace provides the warmth and ambiance we were looking for. I had been looking for something to hold the TV that was at least 30 inches high, which is hard to find and our room is chilly at night, so finding something that filled both needs along with being so good looking with solid oak is everything we were looking for! Thank you so much. Just an FYI, I found the Beverly Home Theater Fireplace in a sky mall magazine. It was too expensive there and I found you online with a much better price. Many thanks!
